CONGRESSWOMAN JACKSON LEE ADDRESSES THE DEATH OF DOROTHY MILLER

Congresswoman
Sheila Jackson Lee released the following statement with regard to the death of
Congresswoman George Miller’s mother, Dorothy Miller:
“My thoughts and prayers go out to Congressman George Miller and
his family on the loss of his mother, Ms. Dorothy Miller. She was a remarkable
woman and a loving mother to Congressman Miller.
“Ms. Miller lived a long life. She passed away on Sunday at
the age of 97 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
“Dorothy lived in California near Rep. Miller. She is
survived by her son and three daughters. I
give my deepest condolences to Ms. Miller’s loved ones during their time of
grief.”
